Lisa is a Menopause Nurse Practitioner, Independent Prescriber and a member of the British Menopause Society. She has worked in the NHS for over 35 years originally starting her career as a Dental Nurse and then went on to do her nurse training at Nottingham School of Nursing & Midwifery and has worked in Specialties such as, Burns and Plastic Surgery, Community Nursing and for the last 20 years has worked in Primary Care, both in Walk In Centres, Out of Hours Primary Care and since 2011 General Practice.

Lisa is passionate about providing women the opportunity to access good quality menopause care, allowing them to live their best life. In 2020 Lisa was awarded the title of Queens Nurse and feels very privileged to hold this title which recognises nurses for their contribution to community nursing services.

Lisa lives in Shropshire with her family and her cocker spaniel. Hobbies include, long walks, baking and listening to podcasts. Lisa is also very well known for her love of sleep and the benefits to health that sleep can provide. She is also going through the menopause and takes HRT so understands first-hand how the menopause can make you feel.
